You might have tried french kniting before with the wooden doll but have you ever tried braiding with a braiding star?
This is a great way to get children into making their own jewellery, belts, bag straps and accessories in a fun way. It is quick to set up and is really easy for them to use.
 
The wooden star takes up to 8 strands of yarn or chord and is 95x15mm large with 4mm gaps for the yarn to thread through.
