When ever I go on a woodland walk I am head down looking at the floor. I take photo's constantly of the different textures and colours I see around me. From the crusty old bark on the broken branches, the carpet of moss in multiple shades of green to the crispy frills of lichen on the tree stumps. 
 
I tried to capture the colours and textures from my photographs by using inks and water colours on paper. These pieces come unframed but would look gorgeous mounted and framed in natural wood to compliment the subtle shades or in black to give a more contemporary feel.
 
The two ink paintings can be bought as a pair or individually.
